Early Voting by County & Party

Voter Turnout Through 11/1/2008 (Source: SBOE turnout and registration data through 11/1/2008)

By the end of early voting, 42 percent of registered voters statewide had already cast their ballots. Democrats had the highest turnout in the early voting period, with 47 percent of registered Democrats casting ballots. Republicans were next with 39 percent, and 34 percent of unaffiliated voters cast ballots. The table below shows the percentage of registered voters - by party - in each county that have already voted.
